Upgrading Weapons and Shields

You can upgrade your weapons and shields in Fiesta using stones. These stones can be bought from merchants or produced with the stone production skill. You can visit a blacksmith to "refine" (upgrade) your items with stones. Each stone has a number on the top left corner of it, this is the grade of the stone. There are three different grades of stones: 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Stones also have 3 levels of quality, Elrue, Lix and Zir. Elrue is for +1 to +3. When your weapon becomes +3 or higher you use a Lix. When the weapon is within +4 to +6 you would use a Lix. The weapon can get all the way to +9. When the weapon is within +7 to +9 you use a Xir.You can upgrade your weapons three times in with each stone.

Before you start, make sure you have enough stones. Once you have what you need you can head over to the blacksmith (in any place he is located in town). When you click the blacksmith you will see "Refine Item", click this and another window will open.

1. Place your weapon or shield in the middle of the circle
2. Place your stone in one of the slots (not the lower three slots)
3. Press the "Begin" button and cross your fingers

Your weapon can break and be gone forever, so always have a backup. I normally build weapons for characters I am not currently using. For example, I am constantly building weapons for my lower level characters on my higher level accounts. Remember: You can always use your stash and switch weapons between characters.

  If it succeeds there will be three stars that line up in a row and it will give upgrade your weapon, +1.
